Doug has been in the Artificial Lift world for 15 years, and with Tundra for 9 years, working as SSi’s Regional Technical Service Manager. Doug is a passionate team member and a huge support to our US and Colombia markets. He values family and giving back to his community whenever possible. We asked Doug a few questions to get to know him more personally, and here is what he had to say.

What does your role at SSi encompass?

Regional Technical Service Manager for SSi supporting the US and Colombia.

What do you do at SSi and in what circumstance would someone come to you?

My role is to lead the US service team and serve as the senior technical advisor for SSi. You would come to be for anything SSi!

What are you reading now?

The Dichotomy of Leadership by Jocki Willink and Leif Babin.

What is your favourite thing to cook?

I enjoy smoking beef brisket. It’s tough to master, and I feel like I have mastered it!

What was the first concert you ever went to?

Jon Bon Jovi!

What trend do you hope makes a comeback? 

Civility.

What is your home town and where do you currently live?

I call Sterlington Louisiana my home although I moved to several places as I was growing up. My parents owned part of a drilling company when I was younger, so we moved wherever the activity was.

What is your favourite sports team to watch?

My son Dylan’s football team. Go Panthers!

What do you enjoy most about working for SSi?

I love that I know I’m not just a number at SSi – I am part of a team that is working towards the same goal!
