What does your role at SSi encompass and in what circumstance would someone come to you?
I work in field operations, supporting inspection, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of our equipment. You would typically come to me when a unit is down, experiencing operational issues, or requires upgrades or preventative maintenance. My focus is on diagnosing problems efficiently and ensuring equipment operates safely and reliably.

What is your favorite local restaurant?
Ten Foot Henry in Calgary – great atmosphere and consistently amazing food.

What is your go-to productivity trick?
I start each day by identifying the top three priorities that must be completed. Focusing on high-impact tasks keeps me organized and efficient, especially when working on-site.

What is your most loved place in the world and why?
Iran. It’s where I was born, and most of my family still lives there. No matter where I go, that connection to home, culture, and family will always make it special to me.

What is one thing (other than your smartphone) that you can’t leave your house without?
My wallet and keys — simple but essential.

What is the first concert you ever went to?
A local rock concert when I was a teenager — the energy and atmosphere made it unforgettable.

What are you reading now?
Currently reading The Dictator’s Handbook. I enjoy political books that explore power, leadership, and how political systems really function behind the scenes.

What is your favorite sport to watch?
Soccer — especially the UEFA Champions League. The level of competition, atmosphere, and quality of play make it my favorite tournament to follow.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
An engineer. I’ve always been curious about how things work and enjoyed solving problems.

If you could write a book about your life, what would the title be and why?
“Built Through Challenges” — because growth often comes from navigating obstacles and adapting to change.

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
Being more consistent with reading and learning every day — even if it’s just 20–30 minutes.

What is your hometown and where do you currently live?
Originally from Iran, currently living in Calgary, Alberta.

What do you enjoy most about working at SSi?
The work environment is excellent, and the people here are truly great to work with. It’s a supportive team atmosphere where everyone is willing to help, and that makes a big difference in both field and office operations.
